Catriona MacColl, David Warbeck, DVD covers, L'aldilà, posters, Seven Doors of Death, The Beyond
Sometimes, and I know this is going to be hard for you to believe, I have trouble figuring out what to post about. I may even suffer from a lack of blogging motivation. Even harder to believe is the fact that people get to this blog sometimes by searching for things on the internet. These searches vary in degrees of weirdness, and some of them don’t actually correspond to anything on this blog. But since I know someone out there is looking for something, and I don’t have anything better to write about, I figure I’ll be the Google bitch every now and again.
The topic I’m addressing today wasn’t weird at all, actually. It’s “DVD cover L’aldilà.” So whoever you are, for what ever reason you were searching, here is a collection of DVD covers (and posters) for L’aldilà (The Beyond, Seven Doors of Death).

I still haven’t seen The Beyond. I know I know. It’s one of those films that’s been high on my radar and inexplicably, I’ve just missed.
Need to remedy ASAP.

Yeah, you’ll most likely love it. I hated it when I first saw it, and yet it is so good that I still felt compelled to re-watch it and eventually changed my mind.

Yeah, I get lot’s of wacky searches. I think my most amusing somewhat recent was *masturbation* + *pillow* + *vice* what the hell were they looking for exactly? I can’t help but be a little curious. Most people find me when they do google image searches. Hell, I find my own damn blog when I do picture searches.
Love THE BEYOND…been looking for the soundtrack actually. By the way, going to be posting a piece of music from City of the Living Dead. Your comment the other day reminded me I should be using a couple pieces of music from this soundtrack during undead august.

I get a lot of hits from image searches too, not sure why because I have a small readership and therefore shouldn’t be that high up on the page. I get a lot of weird searches but the one that shows up the most is “eye gouge.”
I was really blown away when I realized the theme from City of the Living Dead was basically a rip off. And that tells you that I’ve watched it more than the probably better quality Dawn of the Dead. I shouldn’t be surprised, really, since it’s Fulci-related. It’s still a good theme.

I get a lot of hits for “Samantha Morton breasts”, and they usually come from the U.K. Also, I get a lot of “fuck movies sex” hits from Iran (so far away).
Anyway, The Beyond is tight, but I have a soft-spot for House by the Cemetery. You can’t go wrong with any Fulci movie starring Catriona MacColl/Katherine MacColl, really.

Samantha Morton is oddly attractive. By far the thing I get the most hits for is “Session 9 Explanation.” It amazes me how many people seemingly watch that for the first time, and are confused by it, every day. Sadly, I don’t think they are returning visitors.
I like The House By The Cemetery a lot too. My favorite one of the unholy trilogy depends on my mood. Also, as I was watching Zombi 2 last night I thought how Catriona Maccoll could have played Tisa Farrow’s part.
